Charles "Charlie" Ubelhor Obituary

Charles “Charlie” Ubelhor, almost 95, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, hard work, and love for his family.

Charlie was kind, honest, and loving man who spent 35 years as a masonry contractor. He built many homes and churches throughout the community and took great pride in his craftsmanship. He also built the home where he and his loving wife, Maxine, raised their family which was on the same land where Charlie had grown up.

A Charter member of Good Shepherd Church, Charlie lived on his faith through service, devotion, and kindness.

He was also a proud Army Ranger who served during the Korean War and cherished the accomplishments he achieved during his military service.

Charlie had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature, where he found peace and happiness. Whether in the woods or on the water, he appreciated God’s creation and the simple joys of the outdoors.

Above all, Charlie loved his family and treasured every moment spent with them. He will be remembered for his strength, generosity, unwavering faith, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him. He is a role model to many.

Charlie is survived by his daughters, Elaine Gish (Bobby), Janet Schmitt and Marjie Kempf (Steve); son, Randy Ubelhor (Joanne); sister, Eileen Goldbach; grandchildren, Tiffany Gish, Stacy Chaney (Kris), Katie Pina (Alex), Wesley Schmitt (Megan), Justin Ubelhor (Aimee), Brandi Jackson (Seth), Brooke Ubelhor, Casey Waltz (Matt), and Kyler Kempf (Jordan); great grandchildren, Jack, Charlie, Della, Juliana, Colin, Brynn, Miles, Jaxon, Ruby, Adelaide, Graham, Fiona, Isaac, Nora, Leon, Kane, and Rhett; and many nieces and nephews.
