Charlotte Marie (Ellis) Keltner

Charlotte Marie (Ellis) Keltner, age 90, of Newburgh, IN, passed away at 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at North Park Nursing Center.

Charlotte was born March 15, 1930, in Terre Haute, IN, to William and Gladys (Thomas) Ellis. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1947. Charlotte was a life-time member of Abundant Life Community Church. Charlotte and Dennis loved riding their motorcycle and traveling with The Christian Motorcycle Association. She enjoyed window shopping on Sunday afternoons with Melody and spending time her cat, Marley.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Michele Bennett (Tim Schaefer) of Evansville; daughter-in-law, Tina Keltner; grandchildren, Melody Bennett (Cody Glenn), Hannah Katterhenry (Wesley), Erik Keltner (Brittany), and Kassandra Keltner; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 51 years, Dennis Lee Keltner, who passed away in 2012; son, Gregory Keltner, who passed away in 2003, and brothers, James Ellis and William Ellis.

Private Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 28, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Troy Boulware officiating.
