Chit Ko

Chit Ko, age 75, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. 
Chit was born May 20, 1946 in Rangoon, Burma, to U Ba Saung and Daw Sein Yee. He graduated from Rangoon High School in 1963. He loved spending time with his grandkids. 

Chit is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, May Than; sister, Marla; daughters, Mayme Hunt (Wayne), Khine Zezawar Ko (Sai Khe Hpa); grandchildren, Stephen Chit Ko Hunt (Alexis), Stephanie Hunt, Sebastian Hunt, Sai Pan Hpa, Nang Ying Siri; great grandchild, Huxley Hunt.

Chit is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Khie Thazin Ko, and 2 brothers.

Buddhist Blessing Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Ashin Pinyawara officiating.
