Clayton L. Bonner Sr.

May 1, 1942 ~ April 29, 2000 (age 57)


Clayton L. Bonner Sr., 57, of Donaldson, Ark., formerly of Evansville, died Saturday, April 29, 2000, at St. Joseph’s Region­al Medical Center in Hot Springs, Ark., of heart failure.

He was a truck driver. He was a member of the Friendship United Pentecostal Church and former member of the Pentecostal House of Prayer in Evansville.

Surviving are his wife, Eve­lyn; three daughters, Stacy Burtness and Vivian Amanda Tucker, both of Arkadelphia, Ark., and Barbara Fleming of Nevada; three sons, Clayton Jr. and James, both of Arkadelphia, and Steve Lopez of Indiana; a sister, Janet Pellett of Arkadelphia; a brother, Everett of Dinuba, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Pentecostal House of Prayer in Evansville, the Rev. Alfred Lott officiating, with bur­ial in Alexander Memorial Park in Evansville.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time at the church. Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia is handling arrangements.
