Clifford E. Reiss

Clifford E. Reiss, age 69, of Cannelton, IN, formerly of Newburgh, IN passed away at 1:21 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at his home in Cannelton.

Clifford was born May 9, 1950, in Pikstown, South Dakota, to Clifford W. Reiss and Lavona (Moore) Reiss. He graduated from Atheimer High School of Altheimer, AR, in 1968. Clifford was US Army, Vietnam Veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was also a member of the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club in Evansville, IN. Clifford loved camping, hunting and fishing.  

Clifford is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Margaret (Jackson) Reiss; his mother, Lavona; daughter, Melissa (Jeremy) Warner; brother, Ray Ryan (Nancy) and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Warner.

Clifford is preceded in death by his father, Clifford W.; brothers, Roy Ryan and Thomas Reiss.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2020 and from 12:00pm until service time Monday, January 6, 2020, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
