Curtis Anthony Owens, II, age 45, of Evansville, IN, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023.
Anthony was born May 23, 1977, in Evansville, IN, to Curtis Anthony Owens and Rosalind (Russell) Hoppen. He worked as a handyman as well as a caregiver. Anthony enjoyed animals, working, singing, playing guitar in a band, and being out in nature. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Anthony is survived by his parents, Curtis Owens (Kathy) and Rosalind Hoppen (Glenn); loving wife of 8 years, Amanda Dawn (Hurm) Owens; son, Dorian Michael Owens; sisters, Robin Forston (Tony), Sarah Lefler (Andrew), Shelena Lantrip (Chris), Arielle Behrich (Kevin), and Abigail Long (Kyle); brothers, Christopher Hoppen (Melissa) and Jason Hoppen (Julie); mother-in-law, Doris Hurm; 11 nieces; 6 nephews; best friend, Curt Basham; friend, Scott Ashworth; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Anthony is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ernestine Glisson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., March 12, 2023, at the Bishea Shelter at Burdette Park, 5301 Nurrenbern Road, Evansville, IN, with Pastor Dave Schwambach officiating. Burial will be Private.
