Dana Sue Lancaster

Dana Sue Lancaster, age 55, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at home.

Dana was born January 2, 1969, in Owensboro, KY, to the late Charles “Charlie” Newcomb and Sue (Hazelwood) Dodson. She graduated from Castle High School. Dana loved fishing with her son John and enjoyed the outdoors.

Dana is survived by her mother and stepfather, Sue Dodson (Norris); sons, John Morgan and Charlie Goodson; sister, Michelle Johnson (John); granddaughter, Madyson; best friend, KC Lara; and father figure, Dilip Patel.

Dana is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Newcomb; and nephew, Josh Newcomb.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Kyle Wishert officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2024, and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
