Daniel R. "Danny" Hammer

Daniel R. “Danny” Hammer, age 61, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 1:34 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Signature Health Care of Newburgh.

Danny was born June 6, 1959, in Evansville, IN, to Sylvia (Brink) Julian. He attended Marion Day School until he was 18 years old and presently attended Reliable Adult Day Care. Danny had an outgoing, and loving personality. He always had candy and change in his pockets. Danny loved watching Wheel of Fortune.

Danny is survived by his loving mother, Sylvia of Evansville, IN; brother, Jerry Hammer (Rose) of Evansville, IN; niece, Andrea Hammer Taylor (Greg) of Key West, FL and uncle, David Hammer (Becky) of Evansville, IN.

Danny is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley and Elizabeth Brink; and step-father, Joe Julian.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Lynn Martin officiating.
