Daniel Ohl

Daniel Ohl, age 84, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
Danny was born October 20, 1938, in Evansville, IN, to Edward and Vera (Bufkin) Ohl. He was a member of Townsend Bible Church in Newburgh, IN. Danny was a member of Chandler Saddle Club and Hoosier Trailblazers. He was retired from Crescent Plastics as a machine operator. Danny loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities.

Danny is survived by his daughters, Kristi Horton (John) and Shelia Fletcher (Rick); and grandchildren, Brad Horton (Brooke), Danielle Crane, Dillon Horton (Christa) and Camren Fletcher; and great-grandson Hayes Horton.

Danny is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Monetta; brother, Donald Ohl and his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Ron David and Pastor Mike Ward officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, IN.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time, August 24, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
