Danny H. Johnson

Danny H. Johnson, age 76, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Parkview Care Center.

Danny was born April 18, 1945 in Evansville, IN to Howell F. and Marcella (Walker) Johnson. He graduated from Reitz High School in 1963. He was stationed in Germany while serving in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Danny retired from Duke Energy as a maintenance Mechanic.  

Danny is survived by his stepdaughters, Karen (Joe) Middleton, Susan (Neal) Esary, Lisa (John) Thomas and Loura (Walter) Frost; sister, Ramona “Mona” (David) Dean; brother, Dennis (Kathy) Johnson; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents; first wife Georgena Johnson and second wife Theresa Johnson; sister Rhonda Schulz; brothers, Kevin Johnson, L. Keith Johnson, and G. Lenn Johnson; step-daughter Melissa Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Robert Vaught officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time.
