David Woodburn

David Woodburn, age 51, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Linda E. White Hospice.

David was born February 23, 1971, in Sacramento, KY, to Mike and Maxine (Cartwright) Woodburn. He graduated from Mclean County High School in 1989 and continued on to ITT Technical Institute and worked in the cable industry for WOW and Spectrum for 25 years. One of David’s favorite moments growing up were spent on the farm with his Granddaddy C.W. and Uncle Joe. David was an avid Dallas Cowboy and U.K. fan, and enjoyed watching football and basketball games with family and friends.

David is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Woodburn; sons, Colton and Auston Pugh; parents, Mike and Maxine Woodburn; sister, Dana Woodburn; sister-in-law, Lisa Boberg (Charlie); brother-in-laws, Lawrence Roth (Marilyn) and Kyle Roth; and many other family members, including many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

David is preceded in death by his grandparents, C.W. and Joyce Woodburn and Edward and Christine Cartwright; and father and mother-in-law, Edward and Betty Sue Roth.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with family friend, Todd Milford officiating. Burial will be private.

Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
