David “Dave” M. Thomason

David M. “Dave” Thomason, age 53, of Folsomville, IN, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown. With his passing he gave the gift of life through organ donation.

Dave was born November 18, 1969, in Evansville, IN, to David J. and Darnella (Skinner) Thomason. He graduated from Boonville High School in 1988. Dave was a food distributor for Winkler and he was also affiliated with Sprinkler Union 669. Dave was good natured and kindhearted; never knowing a stranger and he was friendly to everyone.

Dave is survived by his daughter, Charly Thomason, whom he loved dearly; father. Dave L. Thomason; brother, Jeremy Thomason (Ashley), and several lifelong friends that were considered family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Dave is preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor John Swain officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Cemetery in Owensboro, KY.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
