Deborah K. (Hodge) Buttry, age 69, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 4:09 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.
Debbie was born September 1,1953, in Evansville, IN, to Edward Oliver and Alene (Poindexter) Hodge. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1971 and attended Indiana State University of Evansville. Debbie was a member of Blue Grass Church where she sang in the choir and was part of the Hands of Harmony Choir. She enjoyed working in Banking and Real Estate, and she loved cooking, sewing, macrame, crafting, listening to music, playing with her puppy, Jake, and playing Farkle with her father.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Raymond Buttry; daughter, Jennifer Blanford (Wade); granddaughter, Taytum Blanford; brother, Steven Hodge (Tammy); and several nieces and nephews.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Alene Hodge; infant son, Jeremy Buttry; and brother, David Hodge.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Blue Grass Church – Chapel Campus at 14240 Petersburg Road, Evansville. Burial will be in Blue Grass Church Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2022, and from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Blue Grass Church - Chapel Campus.
