Deborah K. (Kenney) Mitchell

Deborah K. (Kenney) Mitchell, age 66, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital.

Deborah was born January 25, 1955, in Evansville, IN to Donald Kenney and Edna M. (Huebner) Kenney. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1973. Deborah worked many years at the State Hospital in the kitchen. She enjoyed playing puzzle games on her iPad.

Deborah is survived by her son, Dennis Mitchell; sister, Kathy Short; brothers, Gary Kenney, and David Kenney; sister in-law, Tracy Kenney; and her beloved cat, Sophie.

Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Edna; and her husband, Timothy Allen Mitchell; and brother, Roger Kenney.

A Graveside Committal will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 24, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Kris Holzmeyer officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time.
