Debra "Debbie" Joyce (Winn) Bander

Debra "Debbie" Joyce (Winn) Bander, age 72, of Evansville, IN, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

Debbie was born August 2, 1953, in Evansville, IN, to the late Clifford Ray Winn and Joyce (Goodman) Winn. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1971. Debbie was a Special Ed Assistant/Job Coach for EVSC, where she retired in 2018 after 33 years. She enjoyed playing cards, crafting, and reading. Debbie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great nieces. She was the magnet for the family.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Larry Bander; daughter, Lori Ruzicka (Bruce); sons, Nic Bander (Megan) and Larry Bander, Jr.; brother, Danny Winn (Melanie); grandchildren, Robert Ruzicka, Derek Ruzicka, Brayden Bander, and Selah Bander; nephew, Sammy Winn (Natalie); and great nieces, Laci Winn and McKenzie Winn.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Clifford Ray and Joyce Winn; and brother, David Winn.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2026, and again from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
