Debra "Debbie" S. (Beavin) Durbin

Debra S. “Debbie” (Beavin) Durbin, age 67, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh.

Debbie was born September 4, 1956, in Evansville, IN to the late William L. and Willa Jean (Daugherty) Beavin. Debbie worked as a CNA for Holiday Health Care for 21 years. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post# 4023 and a member of Am Vets Post# 84.

Debbie is survived by her significant other, Robert Shadrick; son, James Michael Durbin, Jr.; daughters, Birdena “Birdie” Birdwell and Becky Durbin; sisters, Terina Coleman (Danny), Connie Lockwood and Marcella “Marcie” Biggs; grandchildren, Jennifer Ande, Hailey Durbin, Jeremy Birdwell, Jr., Jessica Birdwell, Jonathon Birdwell, Serenity Walker and Khloe Durbin; great grandchildren, Maria Birdwell, Radarius Adams, Ya’mir Birdwell, Valerie Cabell and Vaelyn Cabell; and nieces and nephews, William “Billy” Coleman, Dustin Maust, Jamie Lockwood, Cathleen Lockwood and Rachel Folz (Nick).

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Major Loren Carter officiating. Per Debbie’s wishes, she will be cremated, and there will be no burial.

Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Family to help with funeral expenses.
