Dennis Frasier “Frasier”, age 76, of Boonville, IN, formerly of Evansville, IN, passed away at 7:08 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital – Newburgh, IN, surrounded by his family.
Frasier was born on November 19, 1945, in Evansville, IN, to Elvy and Marie (Weber) Frasier. He graduated from North High School in 1963. Frasier was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Kapperman Post 44. Frasier was an avid IU Basketball and Bobby Knight fan. He also loved the Colts, Pacers, and Yankees. Frasier was in the auto body repair business since he was in high school, and he was the owner and operator of Frasier’s Body Shop since the early 80s. He liked metal detecting and collecting coins, guns, and Dodge trucks. Frasier had a very eclectic sense of humor; he enjoyed stand-up comedians and comedic action and Marvel movies. He was an everyday patron at Libby & Mom’s Café, and he enjoyed his special friends there. Frasier especially loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He was loved, respected, admired by many.
Frasier is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Carolyn (Willett) Frasier; daughter, Kimberly Oakes (Benjamin); son, Dennis Frasier, II; brother, Larry Frasier (Wanda); grandchildren, Chaise Frasier (Jennifer) and Riley Oakes; great grandchildren, Lillian Frasier, Adelyn Frasier, and Evelyn Frasier.
Frasier is preceded in death by his parents, Elvy and Marie Frasier; sister, Joann Mosely; and brother, Kenny Frasier.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Troy Smith officiating. Full military rites will be rendered by the American Legion Kapperman Post 44. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time.
