Diana Henrich Obituary

Diana Lynn (Cole) Henrich, age 78, of Newburgh, IN, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville, with her family by her side. She is joyfully reunited with the love of her life and walking the Streets of Gold, healed and whole.

Diana was born May 31, 1947, in Evansville, IN, to  Ralph and Mary (Altheide) Cole. She graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School, and she was a long-time member of Souls Harbor Assembly of God. In her younger years, Diana worked for Gore Research & Associates. She married Paul in 1965, and she was blessed to be a Homemaker, rearing her children and taking care of her home. She loved baking and was a wonderful cook. Her family was her pride, purpose, and greatest happiness. They were at the center of every story she told. Diana lit up every room she entered. She loved to laugh and tell stories; she never met a stranger. She enjoyed shopping, listening to music, dancing, quilting, and taking care of people. She was a genuinely caring person, and in her later years, Diana enjoyed working as an In-Home Caregiver. She leaves behind beautiful memories, countless shared moments of laughter, and a family that is forever shaped by her love.

Diana is survived by her daughters, Raquel Pickard (Jon) and Mary B. Christian; sons, Paul S. Henrich, III (Laura) and Bart Henrich (Stephanie); sister, Amelia Vanover (Ray); brother, Bob Cole (Sarah); 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and long-time friend of Lady Di, Andrew Norton of Australia.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Cole; her loving husband of 52 years, Paul S. Henrich, Jr., who passed away in 2017; sister, Teresa Cole; and brother, George Cole.
