Diane (Youngmeier) Royster, age 84, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Linda E. White Hospice House. Diane was born July 15, 1941, in Evansville, Indiana, to Edward and Marjorie (Hardy) Youngmeier. She graduated from Bosse High School and attended Evansville College.
Diane worked as an office manager in the real estate industry for many years. She enjoyed collecting Hadley Pottery, loved traveling to visit lighthouses, and in her later years especially enjoyed spending time on social media and staying connected with family and friends. Diane also greatly enjoyed supporting her daughter’s tennis career and loved watching her play.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Robin Royster, and her beloved granddog, Dash.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bruce Youngmeier.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN, with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be private at New Salem Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
