Don Teague, age 83, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 12:35 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Linda E. White Hospice House.
Don was born March 12, 1940, in Evansville, IN, to William Teague and Virginia (Kerchief) Vezzoso. He graduated from Central High School in 1957 and attended the University of Evansville. Don worked as a home builder and a property maintenance manager. Don was an entertainer at heart; he had a band called Don Teague Combo. He enjoyed making people laugh, and he was an amazing dancer and a very talented musician. He loved classic cars and was a member of the Road Knights. Don was a member of the Constellation Masonic Lodge 748, Scottish Rite, Hadi Shrine Temple, Fraternal Order of Eagles 427 and The Owls. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Alice Teague (Hall); daughters, Patti Jourdan (Jim), Carrie Teague (Steve), Dana Miller (Kent), Stephanie Malone (Kevin), and Sarah Colston (Willie); sister, Donna Lewis (Allen); aunt, Dodie Davis; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews; and his fur companion, Baby.
Don is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 24, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Art Christmas officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home. Constellation Masonic Lodge will conduct a service at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Monday, April 2023, at Boone Funeral Home.
