Donald E. Gray

Donald E. Gray, age 73, of Evansville, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at home.

Donald was born November 24, 1950, in Mount Carmel, IL, to the late Robert and Myrtie (Morrow) Gray. He graduated from Old Central High School and worked in Shipping and Receiving at Farm Boy Food Service for 31 years before retiring. Donald enjoyed working in his yard as well as remodeling the inside of his house, whether it was a new color of paint or replacing the floors.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Amy Jarvis (Steve) of Evansville, IN; sisters, Donna Riley of Evansville, IN, and Julie Miller of Nashville, TN; brothers, Morris Gray (Mary) of Mount Vernon, IN, Ivan Gray (Diane) of Evansville, IN, and Kenny Potts, of FL; and grandson, Kyle Haynes of Evansville, IN.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert Gray.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
