Donna M. (Moore) Weightman

Donna M. (Moore) Weightman, age 71, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at 3:48 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital – Newburgh, IN.

Donna was born December 18, 1951, in Evansville, IN, to the late Howard and Mary Francis (Jett) Moore. She graduated from Harrison High School in 1969 and from Lockyear Business College with an Associate’s Degree. Donna worked for St. Mary’s Hospital as a computer programmer, and she later opened Donut Depot Bakery which she owned for 28 years.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Darrell Weightman; daughter, Leeanna Mason; son, Bryce Weightman; sisters, Wanda Ivey (William), Virginia Bright, and Linda Oliver (George); and grandchildren, Devin, Ashlynn, and Bryson “Chance” Weightman.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Chandler, IN.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2023, and from 9:00 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
