Doris Mae (White) Farmer

Doris Mae (White) Farmer age 86, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 3:40 a.m. on February 25, 2021, at Newburgh Healthcare.

Doris was born December 7, 1934, in Evansville, IN, to Warren R. White and Malta (McIntire) White. She attended Evansville United Christian Fellowship Church. She worked at the Blind Association. She loved to played the piano by ear.

Doris is survived by her step-daughters, Cecilia K. “Kelly” Howard and Brianna Winiger; and step-son, Keith Farmer.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Farmer; parents, Warren and Malta White; sisters, Anita Williams, Wanda Taylor, and Rachel White; and brothers, Robert White, Wayne White, and Max White.

Friends may visit from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Brownsville, IL.
