Dorothy J. (Jones) Randolph

Dorothy J. (Jones) Randolph, age 92, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Home.

Dorothy was born June 30, 1929, in Saline County, IL, to the late John Bernard Jones and Opal (Reynolds) Jones. She graduated from Harrisburg High School in Illinois. Dorothy was an active member at Vann Avenue Baptist Church since 1953. She served in her church for over 50 years teaching Sunday School and working in the nursery and Vacation Bible School. Dorothy loved quilting, cross-stitching, baking, and taking care of her second and third family.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Sarah Groves (Bud) and Janice Fontenot (Greg); son, James Randolph (Tammy); sister, Darlene Dunning (Eric); and grandchildren, Alexander, Amber, Kurt, Lindsey, Payton, Chris, and Kevin.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Oak Hill Mausoleum, 1400 East Virginia Street, Evansville.
