Dorothy S. "Susie" Renton

Dorothy Sue “Susie” Renton, age 82, of Newburgh, Indiana passed away July 21,2021 at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center. Dorothy had been employed at Evansville Day School. She was an avid lover of Elvis and was a very loving, caring person who helped anyone she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jas Whalen and Doris Milliken; her first husband, Clarence Salee; and granddaughter, Toni Bittler.

She was one of three girls born to Jas and Doris. Her sister’s Joanne and Mary Sweeny of Evansville, IN.

She is survived by her son Kevin Salee (Mary) of Fort Branch, IN; Granddaughters’ Amanda Nichols (Steve) of Edinburgh, IN, Chelsea Salee (Kenny Miller) of Fort Branch, IN, Sandra Goad (Brian) of Newburgh, IN, Cassandra Pierce (Addison) of Evansville, IN; Great Grandchildren, Jordan Hall of Fort Branch, IN, Devin Fuelner of Evansville, IN and Hailey Goad of Newburgh, IN; several nieces, nephews and special friends; and her cat Cookie.

The family would like to thank Cypress Grove and Southern Care Hospice staff for the care and support they showed Dorothy.

Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, July 26, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Jack Eberhardt officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time.
