Dr. Beverly (Kittle) Brockman

Dr. Beverly (Kittle) Brockman, age 55, of Newburgh, IN, passed Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Beverly was born November 9, 1967, in Atlanta, GA, to Benjamin L. and Norma Jean (Knox) Kittle. She graduated from Harrison County High School in Cynthiana, KY, earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Kentucky, and her PhD from the University of Alabama. Beverly most recently served as the Schroeder Family Dean – College of Business and Engineering for the University of Evansville. Prior to her work at UE, she served as Professor of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) for 19 years, and she served as a Department Head for many of those years.

Beverly enjoyed running and hiking, and she especially loved spending time with her family and dogs.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Chris Brockman; daughters, Jenn Brockman Cline (Caleb) and Haley Brockman; sisters, Jen Giersch (Rob) and Cynthia King; and beloved dog, Lilli.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Jean Kittle; and beloved dogs, Rupp, Riley, Ozzie, Cawood, Sugar Bear, and Tinker Bell.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 848 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery, Chattanooga, TN.

Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time EST, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
