Earl E. Hughes, 91, died at 5:50 a.m. today at his home in Evansville.
Mr. Hughes retired in 1965 from Chrysler Corp., where he worked for 30 years, and was recognized for 30 years of perfect attendance.
He was a a member of First Baptist Church and the Agoga Bible Class, and was a member of United Auto Workers Union Local 136.
His first wife, Marie, died in 1983, and his second wife, Helen E., died in 1993.
Surviving are step daughters, Anna Martine Deer of Evansville and Marilyn Samanns of Newburgh; stepsons, Parish Snyder of Layton, Utah and Jerry Snyder of Elk River, Minn.; nine step grandchildren and 15 step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home— East Chapel, 5330 Washington, with the Rev. George Blackmore officiating. Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
The family said friends, if they wish, may make memorial contributions to First Baptist Church or the Agoga Bible Class.
