Elizabeth "Jeannie" (Rumage) Goben

Elizabeth “Jeannie” (Rumage) Goben, age 65, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at home.

Jeannie was born September 6, 1957, in Owensboro, KY, to Charlie and Mary (Gunterman) Rumage. She was employed in the picture developing center at Wal-Mart. Jeannie dearly loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Bryan Goben, who was her caretaker; daughters, Stacy Masterson and Goldie Osborne (Carey); sons, Steven Hawkins-Goben and Timothy Hawkins-Goben; sister, Charlotte Myers; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Jeannie is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Harold Wayne Cauley and Linda Popp.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Henry Goben officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
