Falton Gay, 62, of Evansville, died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday after a long illness.
He retired due to ill health from Whirlpool Corp., where he had worked since 1962. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and was the recipient of several awards including Combat Infantry Badge and Korean Service Medal. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 808.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Dianne; two sons, Greg Gay of Evansville and Michael Gay of Nashville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Kate, Jacob, Michael and Amelia Gay.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Park Lawn Cemetery, with the Rev. Mark Johnson officiating.
There will be no visitation at Boone Funeral Home — East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave. Evansville, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess/Ohio Valley Hospice.
