Fayetta Cowan

Fayetta Cowan, age 61, of Evansville, IN., passed away at 10:04 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital.

Fayetta was born April 8, 1959, to Arthur E. Long and Lois Long (Hill). She graduated from Central High School in 1977. Fayetta worked at T.J. Max where she met her wife to be, Gay.

Fayetta is survived by her wife of 23 years, Gay Coggins; daughters, Jennifer Blake (Michael), and Maranda Oxhandler (Cale); grandchildren, Emma, Isaac, Andrew, Owen, Kade, Avery and Elliott; and furbabies, Derby and Jasper.

Fayetta is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lois.

A Graveside Service will be private on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
