Francis Memmer Obituary

Francis J. Memmer, 68, of Evansville, died at 8:15 p.m. yesterday following open heart surgery.

Mr. Memmer, an avid fisherman, was a tile contractor with Memmer Tile and Marble Co.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Eileen; daughters, Vicki Bernard of New Orleans, La., and Jan Memmer of Evansville; a son, Brent Memmer of Evansville; a sister, Anna Mae Gough of Evansville; brothers, Marvin Memmer of Poseyville, Robert Memmer of Lynn Haven, Fla., and Gilbert Memmer of Evansville; and grandchildren, Karen, Katie, Kristen, Bernard, John and Sarah Memmer.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave, with the Rev. Gregory Chamberlin officiating. Entombment will be in Park Lawn Mausoleum.

Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
