Francis "Frank" R. Benton

Francis R. “Frank” Benton, age 78, of Evansville, IN, passed away August 12, 2025, peacefully at The Protestant Home.

Frank was born December 9,1946, in Maplesville, AL to Oscar F. and Hazel M. (Jackman) Benton. He graduated from North High School in 1966. Frank worked for Kuesters Hardware Store as a salesman.

Frank is survived by his survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Darlene (Hardin) Benton; son, Fred Hobgood; sister, Martha Ann Benton.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services and Burial will be Private in  Park Lawn Cemetery.
