Freddie Ray Frizzell, 59, of Evansville, died at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at Cypress Grove Nursing Home in Newburgh after a long illness.
He was a plater for Hard Chrome Co.
A Korean War veteran, he was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Charles Denby Post 2953. He was a member of American Legion Eugene Pate Post, Voyager 471, 40 & 8 and Am-Vets.
Surviving are two sons, Mark Frizzell of Newburgh and Robert Frizzell of Evansville; two sisters, Jeanene Martin of Evansville and Rita McCoy of Midway, Ind.; three brothers, Edward Frizzell of Virginia Beach, VA Donald Frizzell of Jacksonville, Fla., and Allan Frizzell of Atlanta; and three grandchildren, Christopher, Travis and Lauren Ann Frizzell.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Boone Funeral Home — 5330 Washington Ave., the Rev. Jim Wilson officiating, with burial in Livermore Cemetery in Livermore, Ky.
