Frederick "Fred" Raymond Dougan

Frederick "Fred" Raymond Dougan, age 79, of Evansville, IN, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital of Evansville.

Fred was born January 27, 1947, in Evansville, to Charles E. and Ethel M. (Von Harten) Dougan. He graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Fred proudly served in the United State Air Force for 8 years. After his service to our country, Fred went on to earn his Associate’s Degree in refrigeration. He worked for Ice Pro for 11 years and most recently worked in security at Eastland Mall.

Fred is survived by his sisters, Shirley Earley and Georgia Kribbs; and brother, Charles Dougan, Jr..

Fred is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Private.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
