Gail Eugene Kammerer, Jr.

Gail Eugene Kammerer, Jr., age 80, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025, at Brickyard Healthcare – Woodlands Care Center.

Gail was born July 21, 1944, in Princeton, IN, to Gail E. Sr. and Virginia (Maddox) Kammerer. He graduated from Mackey High School and received his Associate’s degree in Management from Lockyear Business College. Gail retired as a supervisor from Whirlpool after several years. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years.

Gail is survived by his daughter, Crystal Kammerer; son, Gail Kammerer III; sister, Connie McKenny (Danny); brothers, George Kammerer (Rita) and Mark Kammerer (Nicole); grandchildren, Noah (Breanna), Josh, and Mariah; and great grandchildren, Leo, Luca, and Saleen.

Gail is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sharon Hamilton.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Brother James Mercer officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
