Gary Cardwell Obituary

Gary R. Cardwell, age 66, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 6:21 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020, holding his wife’s hand at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Gary was born April 21, 1954, in Evansville, IN, to Harold D. Cardwell and Dorothy Davison. Following High School, He enlisted in the United States Army. Gary was a homebody who enjoyed television programs with martial arts, sci-fi, action and westerns. In his early years, Gary enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Janice Cardwell; his extended family and several friends.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Lee Cardwell; brothers, Jerry, Larry, Terry and Rick Cardwell.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
