Gary “Tommy” Carmickle, age 69, of Reed, KY, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.
Gary was born February 4, 1955, in Henderson, KY, to the late Sam and Moneta “Tinsa” Robinson. Known for his passion for Big Rigs, Gary spent decades on the open road, finding solace in every mile traveled. When not behind the wheel, he could be found immersed in his favorite Western shows, reclined in his favorite chair. In his younger years, Gary enjoyed motorcycle rides and was always accompanied by the tunes of rock n’ roll. Gary stepped into the lives of his children and left an impact to carry on throughout their lives. He will be dearly missed and remembered. “Roll on trucker, enjoy the ride through paradise!”
Gary is survived by his 4 children, Michelle Reynolds, Casey Reynolds (Dawn), Damian Reynolds, and Lakei Flores (Collin); 4 grandchildren, Stormy (Matt), Cheyenne, Zaxton, and Brooke; 9 great grandchildren, Lilly, Ruby, Lawson, Laikyn, Levi, Anastasia, Abigail, Harley, and Violet; siblings, Anna Mae Frey and Steve Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.
