Geneva L. (McMahel) Davis

Geneva L. (McMahel) Davis, age 93, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Evansville Protestant Home.

Geneva was born November 8, 1926, in English, IN, to Albert Lee and Faye (Laswell) McMahel. She graduated from Huntingburg High School. Geneva worked for Holiday Health Care as Activity Director before retiring after 25 years. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and especially cooking big Sunday meals for her family.

Geneva is survived by her sons, Mike Davis (Gloria) and Bill Davis (Toni); daughter, Ruth Cohen (Jeff); grandchildren, Krista Pittman (Dan), Billie Jo Brown (Scott), Andy Davis (Dawn), Stephanie Travis (Bryan); 9 great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.

Geneva is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James R. Davis; son, Steven Davis; and grandson, Matt Davis.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 19, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Alan Jackson officiating.
