Geneva B. Jourdan, 81, of Evansville, died at 10:02 p.m. yesterday at her home.
Mrs. Jourdan worked as a waitress for 22 years in restaurants in the Evansville area before retiring in 1977.
She attended Westview Temple Church, and was a member of Charles Denby VFW Post 2953 Ladies Auxiliary.
Her husband, Douglas, died in 1993.
Surviving are a daughter, Betty Cote of Evansville; step-daughters, Sheri Ryan of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Michelle Bateman of Salinas, Calif.; sons, Gene Newcomb and Jim Webster, both of Evansville; a brother, Ernie Winchester of Newburgh; 19 grandchildren, 23, great-grandchildren and one: great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave., with the Rev. Michael L. Pyle officiating.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
