George David Malone, age 76, of Hatfield, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.
George was born June 28, 1948 in Providence, KY to the late George Jefferson Malone and Gladys May (Frederick) Patterson. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1966-1968 as a Private 1st Class Combat Engineer. He served in Vietnam from 1967-1968 with the “A” Co. 1st Engineers. George retired from Alcoa after 37 years. He started in the Pot room and completed 2 degrees throughout his career eventually becoming an electrician. George loved spending time with his family and grandkids, shooting trap & skeet, oil painting, fishing, listening to all genres of music, and spoiling his beloved puppy, Misty.
George is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia (Cox) Malone; daughters, Melissa Johnson (Bobby Henderson) and Christina Reutter (Jason); sister, Cindy Buchanan; grandchildren, Zachery Johnson (Autum), Breeann Bosquez (Dustin), and Stormy Reutter; great grandsons, Carson Bosquez and Applo Robb; and many beloved sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
Funeral Services and Burial will be Private.
