George Jeffrey "Jeff" Brandt

George Jeffrey Brandt, age 76, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, at North Park Nursing Center.

Jeff was born May 9, 1947, in Evansville, IN, to George Joseph and Alma F. (Niehaus) Brandt. He graduated from North High School in 1965 and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Arts Education from Indiana State University in 1969. He taught photography for EVSC Harrison for 32 years. Jeff was very fond of his colleagues and formed many lasting friendships. He was an avid bass fisherman and had more fish stories than you could shake a stick at. Jeff was a big family man who enjoyed spending time with his family, and he especially loved watching his grandchildren perform in horse shows.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of almost 54 years, Marti (Baker) Brandt; sons, Beau Brandt (Jennifer) and Marshall Brandt (Regan); grandchildren, Emma, Logan, and Hailey; beloved dog, Lucy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, George and Alma Brandt; sister, Nancy Hitch; and aunt, Mabel Niehaus.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Father Ted Tempel officiating. Burial will be Private.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
