Heather E. Harris

Heather E. Harris, age 46, of Boonville, IN, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021, at her home.

Heather was born March 14, 1975 in Evansville, IN, and adopted into the loving home of Linda (Romain) and Daryel Harris on May 5, 1975. She graduated from Boonville High School in 1993. She attended USI. She worked as a paramedic with Warrick EMS and taught paramedic skills at IVY Tech. She worked for many years with her father running his office. Heather had a green thumb and loved flower gardening. She worked at a nursery and would make beautiful floral arrangements. She loved ladybugs, a favorite of her late nephew Dylan. Heather loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed traveling to Phoenix Arizona, one of her favorite places.

Heather is survived by her parents Linda and Daryel and twin brother, Andrew Harris (Traci); niece, Katelyn; nephews; Brent (Keri), Samuel; great-niece, Eliana and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and Hank, the fur baby she stole away from her dad.  

Heather is preceded in death by her nephew, Dylan M. Harris in 2001.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Christopher Millay officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 6, 2021 and from 10:00 a.m. until the service time on Friday at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
