Helen (Hames) Cook Obituary

Helen L. (Hames) Cook, 86, of Evansville, died Saturday, May 13,2000, at Angel River Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a 50-year member of Bethel United Church of Christ and a member of the Eagles, Coterie and the Friday Night Dance Club,

Surviving are her husband of 18 years, Maurice; a son, Ronald Hames of Evansville; two grandchildren, Susan Hubele and Pam Dugan; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wallace Hames, in 1975.

Services will he at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Donald Bernhardt officiating, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Church of Christ or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
