Henry W Feldbusch, 93, of Evansville, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital.
He retired from Feldbusch Construction in 1987, and had previously retired from Arkla in 1972.
He was originally employed by Ford Motor Co. in Detroit in 1929. He later operated barber shops on Louisiana and Columbia streets in Evansville. During World War II, he worked as a manager of ship building at the Evansville riverfront. After the war, he worked for Bob Storey Construction, and later founded Feldbusch Construction with his son, Ronald F. of Newburgh, in 1951.
He was a member of St. James East United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are his wife of 70 years, Hazel (Foster); a daughter, Sharon Gold of Evansville; a son, Donald D. of Evansville; a sister, Elnora Gentry of Evansville; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Ted Forbes officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
