Herbert Gibson Obituary

Herbert L. Gibson, 90, of Newburgh, died at 12:05 p.m. Saturday at Cypress Grove Re- habilitation Center in Newburgh.

Mr. Gibson, a member of the Methodist faith, retired from Chrysler Corporation after 30 years.

His wife, the former Thelma V. Rogers, died in 1995.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and the Rev. Lynn Longenbaugh of LaSalle, Illinois; grandchildren, Kevin Lynn, Kurt Evan and Amy Renee Longenbaugh; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Park Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, with Mr. Gibson’s son-in-law, the Rev. Lynn Longenbaugh officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. There will be no visitation at Boone Funeral Home — East Chapel, 5330 Washingtom Ave.
