Hettie Sparks Obituary

Hettie C. (Laroe) Sparks, 87, of Evansville, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at the Holiday Care Center.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was in the Quilters & Crafters at the church. She was a member of Eastern Star.

Surviving are two sisters, Dorothy LaRoe and Vivian Mills, both of Evansville. Her husband, Roger, died in 1975.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Leonard Harmon officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with an Eastern Star service at 5:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
