Holden Shepherd Fentress

Holden Shepherd Fentress, age 15, of Chandler, IN, went home to Jesus on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Holden was born April 2, 2009, in Evansville, IN, to Jody and Brandi Fentress. He loved Jesus and believed in prayer. He had a precious glow and spark in him. He was so compassionate to others and to animals; he was always worried for others and felt their pain. Holden, the Movie Man, loved Spiderman. He was smart and enjoyed doing new things, laughing, playing video games with his brother and cousins, and listening to music. Holden treasured family time, and he always left everyone with a hug and a smile. His memory will always be cherished.

Holden is survived by his parents, Jody and Brandi Fentress; older brother, Landon R. Fentress; Nana and Papaw, Teresa and Francis Goebel; beloved aunt and uncle, Jessica and Jamie Reinitz and their children who were more like his siblings than cousins; fur babies, Miss Kitty and Gabby; bearded dragon, Poopsie; his chickens; and many close friends.

Holden is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roscoe and Artella Fentress; and great grandmother, Mamaw Rosie Goad.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel. Burial will be Private in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends and family may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel  – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
