Howard Lee Hagan, Sr.

Howard Lee Hagan, Sr., age 93, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Howard was born July 2, 1929, in Spencer County, IN, to Lester and Clara (Weatheral) Hagan. He graduated from Chrisney High School in 1947 and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and his MBA from the University of Evansville. Howard enjoyed the outdoors and working in his tomato garden, and he especially loved his family get-togethers.

Howard is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Margaret (Mosby) Hagan; children, Howard Hagan, Jr. (Trese), Glenn Hagan (Deborah), Jackie Beardmore (Kevin), and Christina Alban (Jason); daughter-in-law, Vicki Hagan; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Clara Hagan; son, Harold “Buck” Hagan; and siblings, Pauline, Lloyd, Ralph, Willis, and Garland.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Father Christopher Forler officiating. Burial will be Private.

Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time, Sunday, August 14, 2022, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
