Jack R. Larrison, 84, loving husband to Sandra Larrison for 55 years and father to Laura Larrison, entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Linda E. White Hospice House.
Jack, the youngest son of the late Edward and Gladys Larrison, was born October 4, 1937, in Old Saint Louis Crossing, IN. He was a 1955 graduate of Columbus High School, and was a Veteran in the United States Army, serving in Verona, Italy as a cryptologist. Jack attended Ball State University and began his career in insurance and finance. He was employed with Interstate Finance, Morris Plan, Credit Thrift, and American General. Jack was a giant IU fan, and he enjoyed playing golf, listening to music, fishing, traveling, nature, and antiquing. He was a member of American Baptist East, now known as Embrace Church, and he was an active member in the Hadi Shrine Hospital Staff, Kiwanis, and Masonic Lodge.
Jack is survived by his wife, Sandra Larrison; daughter, Laura Larrison; brother, Edward Larrison (Janet); and sisters-in-law, Carla and Saundra; and many nieces and nephews.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Tom Larrison.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. CST, Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN, with Pastor Jeff Stratton officiating. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. EST, Friday, November 5, 2021, at Daugherty Cemetery in Walesboro, IN at the intersection of State Road 11 and County Road 450 South, where Bartholomew County Memorial for Veterans will render full military rites.
Jack enjoyed having fun with family, friends, and strangers. The family appreciated the kindness shown to them by Dr. Mark Browning, Deaconess Gateway Hospital Staff, Linda E. White Hospice House Staff, and our dear friend Beth Seaton.
