Jacqueline “Jacki” (Krepps) Logel, age 77, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville.
Jacki was born July 4, 1948, in Evansville, IN, to the late William and Mary (Reno) Krepps. She graduated from North High School in 1966 and attended the University of Southern Indiana. She was a past member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church and, more recently, was a member of St. Mary and John Catholic Parish. Before retiring, Jacki worked at the License Bureau, Lopp & Lopp Law Office, Police Credit Union, Atlas Van Line, and Sam’s Club. In her younger years, Jacki loved to read mystery novels and watch mystery shows on TV. Jacki loved to vacation in Daytona, FL. For 25 years, she and Stan would meet up with friends down in the Sunshine State, and they enjoyed making many wonderful memories.
Jacki is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Stanley Logel; half-sister, Sonja Snyder of Sarasota, FL; brother-in-law, Stephen Logel (Judith) of Evansville, IN; aunt, Thelma Stirsman; several cousins; and special friends, Ann Johnston and Crystal and Shawn Hebner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 25, 2025, at St. Mary and John Catholic Parish, 613 Cherry Street, Evansville, IN, with Father Eugene Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. , Thursday, September 25, 2025, at St. Mary and John Parish.
